Nannies Today > Terms and Fees

These terms and conditions of business stated below are between Nannies Today and the employer (the client).

January 2009

Introduction

These terms and conditions are a contract between Nannies Today and the client and are deemed to be accepted and signed by the client as an induction to our agency. These terms contain the entire agreement between Nannies Today and the client unless other wise agreed in writing by Nannies Today.

Notification and fees

The client will pay the fee due to Nannies Today after a decision has been made from the client and accepted by the employee. The client will notify Nannies Today in writing either by letter or email as soon as an offer has been made which results in the engagement being accepted.

Payment of the fee is due within 14 working days of the invoice from the acceptance, and not upon the commencement employment. If the start date is within the 14 days the agency fee must be paid before the employment starts.

Temporary engagement fees are payable in advance for the entire contract term.

Temporary Placement

If a temporary placement becomes permanent, the full permanent placement introduction fee will be payable and the replacement guarantee below shall apply.

In an advent of a temporary placement continuing, then the client must notify Nannies Today and an additional fee will then be charged up to a maximum of 12 weeks. Nannies Today will recalculate the amount due and issue a revised invoice and this will need to be paid within 7 working days of the invoice date. If the temporary placement continues after 12 weeks a fee for a permanent engagement will then be charged.

Replacement Guarantee

The agency fees are non-refundable

If the employment terminates within the first 8 weeks from the commencement of the employment then the client will be entitled to our Nannies Today replacement guarantee. This guarantee means that every effort will be made to provide you with a suitable replacement that meets your same requirements without any extra cost providing that Nannies Today was
 Notified within 3 working days of the termination in writing.
 The relevant fee had been paid within the 7 days of the invoice date.
 The employment had not been terminated due to unreasonable demands by the client or there had been a change in their job description, hours, pay or location.

If your requirements change then you will be recharged the agency fee for your chosen childcare

Confidentiality

All inductions of applications by Nannies Today and their details must remain strictly confidential and must not be passed onto a third party. A sum of the equivalent of the full introduction fee will be charged to the employer if this has been breached.

General

Whilst Nannies Today does there utmost to interview and check references of all nannies. It is still recommended to you to do your own reference checks. It is the employer’s responsibility and liability for any loss, expenses, delay or damage resulting from Nannies Today’s introduction. Nannies Today can not give any guarantee concerning the stability of any staff introduced through Nannies Today.

The client will provide the Employee with written conformation of salary details, National Insurance and Tax details, their duties while employed and their relevant time off details before the engagement. Nannies Today takes no responsibility for paying the employees Tax or NI.

It is the responsibility of the client and not Nannies Today to obtain a work permit whenever required for the employee. Nannies Today takes no responsibility if the employee gets refused their required permit.

Nannies Today acts as an introduction and booking agent only and does not directly or indirectly employ staff, nor can they guarantee that any vacancy/nanny will remain available.
